“Lutry mon amour” is dedicated to the artist’s daily encounter with Lake Léman in Lutry and to the changing emotional presence of the landscape.

Returning to the lakeside each day, Olga Tacan observes the shifting states of water, atmosphere, wind, and light through plein-air oil painting. The exhibition explores the lake not as a fixed motif, but as a living and constantly transforming presence reflecting memory, perception, and inner emotional states.

Among all the places surrounding Lake Léman, Lutry occupies a singular place in the artist’s practice. The exhibition is also shaped by the everyday exchanges, reactions, and support of the local community encountered along the lakeside promenade.

Created en plein air in Lutry, Olga Tacan’s paintings explore light, atmosphere, and the shifting presence of water through oil and impasto on paper.

Through repeated observation, the lake becomes both landscape and mirror: playful, contradictory, dramatic, calm, and endlessly changing.
